Answers to Quiz #8: Major Scales

Write the following scales in the manner requested (Do not use a key signature; simply insert accidentals where needed): Use brackets and slurs, and write the T's and S.T.'s in.

a) B-flat major, ascending, using half notes, in the treble clef.
b) E-major, descending, using eighth-notes beamed in pairs, in the bass clef.
c) D-major, ascending, using quarter notes, in the bass clef.
d) C-major, ascending, using half notes, in the treble clef.
e) A-flat major, descending, using whole notes, in the bass clef.
